1999紐西蘭，魔戒壯麗史詩的舞台

一九九九年的紐西蘭之旅，跟好友的再度出遊，回程時從南往北飛回台灣的飛機，機上是載滿整行囊愉快回憶的我們，機下的台灣卻是921肆虐後令人不忍卒睹的殘破大地。飛抵國門的時間是921晚上9點，迎接我們的是從台南以北全黑的寂靜！更不幸的是我們一行人都是中部人，當時卻連電話都不通。那種親人生死未卜的恐懼，即使後來只是虛驚一場，卻真的令人餘悸猶存！

這次旅行總共玩了23天，詳細行程已經不復記憶，只能簡單地把一些照片跟在皇后鎮高空彈跳的影片放上來，作為阿貓天涯行腳的印記。

年輕的時候，一直想做些瘋狂的事，紐西蘭的高空彈跳就是其中之一。當時跳完只有一個爽字可以形容，置之死地而後生的感覺不外如是。尤其是墜到最底時強大的繩子彈力將我往上拉，感覺好像要縮肛一樣，失重的狀態下整個身體好像被掏空，不要怪我的形容詞不文雅又太虛幻，跳過的人一定知道我在說什麼！

當了眼科醫師後我才知道，原來BUNGEE JUMP產生的失重及加速度，足以使脆弱的視網膜產生剝離及其他病變。對於六七百度近視的我，當時沒出事真是運氣好。

我絕對有勇氣再跳一次，但為了我脆弱的雙眼，還是寧可當個縮頭烏龜。還好找到去紐西蘭時的這捲帶子，雖然跳的姿勢還不夠帥，但也足以自我安慰一番。畢竟，年輕時的我，瘋狂過……。
